Farewell Boleyn tours. Anyone been? Any good?
Thinking of sorting one of these out for the family but just wanted to know a little about it- whether it's worthwhile/good value and what it entails. The blurb on the site sounds good but it's a little vague and at 20 quid per adult and 15 quid per kid, it's not overly cheap.

If anyone's been on a tour, your thoughts would be very interesting!

Cheers

Booked today for Tuesday after the Easter bank holiday, was hoping to get a match day one, but keep missing them. Rang the ticket office and at the time, 4 ish said there was about 12 places left.

Taking the nipper whos over the moon about it.

Just to confirm, for those interested, children under 5 are free if you book at the T/O in person or via the phone.

I went our stadium tour when it was the old West Stand, which wasn't bad. The guide kept on alluding to 'This is where Bobby Moore sat, this is where he bathed, etc and so on.'

I have been on the Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Dortmund tours, all were good value. The first two's trophy rooms were as big as my house but Dortmund's was less impressive. I'm off to Rome soon, does anyone know if Lazio or Roma do a ground tour at their Olympic stadium?

Something to do before it gets taken apart though. The kids will enjoy it anyway.

Done two other tours, PSV Eindhoven and Barcelona. They both make our tour look like it's a non-league club.

Son of Anarchy 1.46,

You don't get get to see any silverware on the tour. Fact. I thought it was a waste of money but that's just my opinion.

A load more dates just went on sale a few minutes ago.

Some of them for half term/Easter holidays.

Just a quick tip off!

The trophy cabinet won't take long, blink and you'll miss it

If they're out of the womb, you can bet your life the club will charge for them.

They are indeed Buster but I didn't know if the kids costs applied to toddlers (under 2) & newborns as looking at taking a few nieces & nephews with as it's the last opportunity. Cheers

Was looking at booking this myself. Anyone know the costs, specifically for kids? Do toddlers have to pay? Cheers

Went on the tour several years ago when it used to cost £10 and it's well worth it, not too much to look at in the trophy cabinet but everything else is great.

I noticed the latest batch went on sale at 9 this morning but I was busy until about 11 by that time there was only one date available online this morning so I phoned up to see if any other were available and the woman said yes what did I want - told her sat 19th March and she asked 11am or 2 pm.

Don't know if they are slipping a few extra people in but it's worth phoning and not taking too much notice of the box office online.

(still £1.50 per ticket booking fees on these too)
